Texas Municipal Retirement System, Austin, is searching for a director of fixed income, confirmed Bill Wallace, spokesman for the $16 billion system.
The position had been held by Holly Macki, who was promoted to director of real estate, a position created following the board’s decision to add real estate as an asset class.
The system also is completing due diligence on selecting its first real estate consultant; the consultant is expected to be selected at the May 7 board meeting, Mr. Wallace said.
Separately, the system is searching for a general counsel to succeed David Gavia, who was named TMRS executive director in mid-March.
