Simon Eagleton was named investment consulting regional business leader for Asia Pacific at Mercer amid a reorganization of the consulting firm's Asia division, according to spokeswoman Mags Andersen.
Mr. Eagleton, who retains his role as consulting business leader for Australia and New Zealand, replaced Tony Cole. Mr. Cole will assume a new position as senior partner responsible for key client consulting and thought leadership among other duties in the region.
Separately, Anthony Lane will become head of Mercer’s global manager research boutiques business in addition to his current role as regional chief operating officer for investment consulting in Asia-Pacific. Mr. Lane replaced Jeff Schutes, who in 2008 was appointed as head of Mercer’s U.S. investment consulting business.
