Andreas Pfunder was named managing director of European operations for Strategic Insight and will head the investment management and research company's new London office, according to a Strategic Insight news release.
He will oversee expanding Strategic Insight's European business with mutual fund companies, wealth managers and distribution networks.
Prior to working as an independent consultant, Mr. Pfunder served as a director of global business development at AllianceBernstein and before that as a global relationship manager at Fidelity International.
Separately, Jamie Maak, Strategic Insight's global business development manager, will move to London from New York to coordinate the group's worldwide presence and support of clients.
Strategic Insight plans to open an office in Hong Kong later this year, according to the news release.
Mr. Pfunder could not be reached for comment.
