Rajiv Shukla was named a portfolio manager at FrontPoint Partners.
The position is new, confirmed Erica Platt, a FrontPoint spokeswoman.
He will co-manage a new fundamental hedge fund strategy focused on health-care equities in emerging markets. Mr. Shukla will be based in FrontPoint's London office.
Mr. Shukla was director of investments at ICICI Venture, an India-based private equity fund, where he led a team focused on health-care investments. Information about his replacement at ICICI could not be immediately learned.
