Money management advisory veterans Keith Mitchell and Roger Hartley today launched Mitchell Hartley Advisers, a new strategic advisory boutique “focused exclusively on doing asset management M&A,” Mr. Mitchell said in an interview.
Mr. Mitchell will lead the firm's office in Atlanta, and Mr. Hartley will be based in Santa Rosa, Calif. Both are principals.
Mr. Mitchell was principal and founder of M&A advisory boutique Mitchell Advisers, which was succeeded by the new firm. Mr. Hartley left his position as a managing director with investment banking boutique Jefferies Putnam Lovell in late 2007 after a 10-year stint to become COO of Coast Asset Management. He left Coast in early 2009.
