Richard Field was named interim CEO for Aviva Investors’ North American operations.
Mr. Field will relocate to Aviva’s Des Moines, Iowa, offices from London, where he is director of global investment solutions for Aviva Investors, a news release said. He will retain his other responsibilities while Aviva searches for a permanent CEO for North America.
He replaces Greg Boal, who left in what the company in the news release called a “mutual agreement.” The announcement provided no details about Mr. Boal’s departure. Efforts to reach Mr. Boal were unsuccessful.
Barry Schneider, vice president of communications for Aviva Investors North America, said no timetable had been set for selecting a permanent CEO. He declined to comment about Mr. Boal.
Aviva Investors manages more than $362 billion in 15 countries.
