Eric Lareau was named a director and head of North American sales at Hermes Investment Management (North America), while Jamison R. Gagnier was named an associate director of North American sales.
Both positions are new, said John Chisholm, a founding principal and institutional portfolio manager with Hermes Global Equities Advisors, a division of the company.
Mr. Lareau was a director of institutional sales with Principal Global Investors. Principal spokeswoman Paula Chizek said there are no immediate plans to replace him.
Mr. Gagnier was a vice president of institutional sales with Loomis Sayles. His responsibilities have been assumed by other sales executives, said Loomis Sayles spokeswoman Erin Heard.
Alex Cook, a partner with executive search firm Seaview Global Advisors, assisted with the appointments.
Hermes, a multiboutique money management firm based in London, had $34 billion in client assets under management as of Sept. 30.
