Noel McElreath, Robin Costello and Kevin Monds joined Piedmont Investment Advisors as vice presidents, according to a news release.
All three positions are new.
Mr. McElreath will be a portfolio manager for Piedmont’s fixed-income strategies. He was a senior portfolio manager for corporate bonds and credit derivatives with Tattersall Advisory Group.
Ms. Costello will be director of marketing. She was director, U.S. sales, for emerging technology company Futures Inc.
Mr. Monds will be a product portfolio manager at Piedmont. He was a senior vice president and product portfolio manager for Smith Breeden Associates’ mortgage index-plus strategy.
A spokeswoman for Smith Breeden said at present there are no plans to replace Mr. Monds. Lynn Walters, a spokeswoman for Tattersall parent Wells Fargo, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
Piedmont had $2.8 billion in client assets as of Dec. 31.
