Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System, Phoenix, is searching for an executive search firm to assist in the $6.2 billion system's search for a new administrator, confirmed James Hacking, outgoing administrator.
Mr. Hacking announced in November his plan to leave the system, following the conclusion of his five-year contract there at the end of this year.
The search firm RFP is posted on the system's website at http://www.psprs.com. Proposals, due Feb. 15, must be e-mailed to assistant administrator Tracey Peterson at [email protected] and 10 copies must be mailed to Ms. Peterson, 3010 E. Camelback Ave., Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
No timetable was set for choosing a search firm.
The system is expected to announce a selection for the new administrator on July 15. The new administrator will start in January 2011.
