Mark Connolly was named director of fixed income at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, effective Jan. 11, confirmed spokeswoman Victoria Jackson.
He will replace Andrew Tunks, who was named in November to the new position of interim director of fixed income. Mr. Tunks will stay on at SWIP and report to Mr. Connolly. His new title will be determined next week.
Mr. Connolly was executive director, distribution and client service, at Standard Life Investments. Rod Paris, head of investments at SLI, has taken over Mr. Connolly's duties on an interim basis while the company decides whether to hire a permanent replacement, said spokesman Richard England.
