Los Angeles County Deferred Compensation Plans issued an RFP for proxy-voting services for its $4.87 billion 457 and $1.36 billion 401(k) plans.
Candidates must have been in the proxy-voting business for 10 years and have at least five years of experience in providing such services for large defined contribution plans, according to the RFP.
Firms may bid to provide services to either or both plans.
The RFP is available on the county’s bid website, http://camisvr.co.la.ca.us/lacobids/BidLookUp/BidOpenStart.asp, and is bid number TTC RFP 2009-05 PVCS.
Responses are due Jan. 22, and sent to County of Los Angeles DC Plans, c/o Treasurer and Tax Collector, 500 W. Temple St., Room 432, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Attention: Teresa Gee.
