San Francisco City & County Employees’ Retirement System is expected to choose an active small-cap growth equity manager at its Nov. 10 board meeting, said David Kushner, deputy director for investments for the $13.1 billion system.
Mr. Kushner declined to name the finalists. The agenda for the Nov. 10 board meeting indicates that staff is recommending Perimeter Capital Management.
The size of the mandate has not yet been determined. Funding would be from cash, he said.
Separately, the board committed up to $20 million to Energy Capital Partners II, a private equity fund.
