Victorian Funds Management Corp. is set to appoint Justin Arter as its new CEO, according to Investment & Technology newspaper.
Mr. Arter will replace Syd Bone, who resigned in March.
Chief Investment Officer Justin Pascoe, who is acting CEO of the firm that oversees A$31 billion (US$28.6 billion) for Victorian state entities, said he would not comment on “market rumors.” Chairman John Fraser said he had no comment, “at least at this stage.”
Mr. Arter is a managing director at Goldman Sachs JBWere. A spokesman for Goldman Sachs JBWere refused to comment.
