James “Jim” Houston is joining Marylin L. Prince as a partner in her executive recruitment firm, now renamed The Prince Houston Group, in September.
Mr. Houston will share business development, execution and management of the specialist asset management recruitment boutique with Ms. Prince, she said in an interview.
“I'm thrilled that Jim is joining the firm. I've known him for a number of years, and he has tremendous experience in the asset management industry,” she said.
Mr. Houston was managing director and co-head of the Americas asset and wealth management practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. His duties there will be assumed by Cornelia Kiley, the other practice co-head, said Sandra Galvin, a Russell Reynolds spokeswoman.
Ms. Prince's previous partner, Joseph B. Goldsmith, left what was PrinceGoldsmith LLC in January to form his own asset management specialist recruitment firm.
