Richard Spurgeon joined Bogdahn Group, a pension fund investment consulting firm, as chief operating officer, according to Joe Bogdahn, principal.
He replaces Bryan Bakardjiev, who also was performing consulting duties. Because the growth of the firm necessitated the COO position become full time, Mr. Bakardjiev preferred to move full time into consulting, Mr. Spurgeon said.
Mr. Spurgeon started at Bogdahn Group on Aug. 1 after leaving Capozzoli Advisory for Pensions Inc., where he was senior vice president in business development, in July, he said.
