The London Borough of Newham is searching for an investment consultant and an actuary, confirmed Keith Faulkner, managing director at search firm Pension Adviser Review, which is handling the searches.
Hewitt Associates is now the £500 million ($830 million) fund's investment consultant, and Mercer is actuary. Both can rebid. Newham officials will consider separate firms or a single provider for both services, Mr. Faulkner said.
Responses are due by Sept. 14, with a selection expected in late October. Further information is available from Mr. Faulkner by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
David Dickinson, principal finance officer for pensions at Newham, did not respond to requests for further information by press time.
