Larry Zicklin and Richard Worley were named to the board of Neuberger Berman Group as independent directors.
Mr. Zicklin was with Neuberger Berman for nearly 35 years and was chairman when he retired in 2003, following the firm’s acquisition by Lehman Brothers, according to a news release.
Mr. Worley served as CEO of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Investment Management before retiring in 2002, the release said. He previously was chairman of Miller Anderson & Sherrerd.
Neuberger Berman formed the seven-member board after becoming an independent firm in May. Other members are George Walker, Neuberger Berman chairman and CEO; Robert D'Alelio, Neuberger Berman managing director and co-portfolio manager of the Neuberger Berman Genesis fund; Joseph Amato, president of Neuberger Berman; and William Fox and Jack McCarthy, both managing directors of Alvarez & Marsal.
Neuberger Berman managed approximately $158 billion in assets as of June 30.
