Stephen Wisloski was named director of investment and debt management at the Vermont state treasurer’s office and director of finance and investments for the state’s retirement plans, confirmed Barbara Agnew, executive assistant to the treasurer.
Mr. Wisloski will oversee the state’s funds, including the $1.5 billion State Teachers Retirement System and the $1.3 billion State Retirement System.
He replaces David Minot, who resigned earlier this year. Mr. Minot could not be immediately reached for further details.
Mr. Wisloski was a senior managing consultant with PFM Group. A PFM spokeswoman couldn’t immediately say whether Mr. Wisloski was being replaced.
