Columbia Management had $331.8 billion in assets under management as of June 30, down 2.6% from the prior quarter and off 22% from a year earlier, according to parent Bank of America's second-quarter earnings announcement today.
Net income for Columbia came to $72 million for the quarter, rebounding from a $53 million loss for the prior quarter and nearly double its second-quarter 2008 net income
Revenues came to $334 million for the latest quarter, up 123% from the prior quarter, but down 8% from the year before.
