John W. Buoymaster was named president of money manager Hall Capital Partners, replacing John F. Boneparth, who left the firm to return to the consulting firm he founded, Corinthian Cove Consulting, as president, said Sarah Lazarus, Hall Capital spokeswoman.
Mr. Buoymaster will retain his duties as director of portfolio management and a member of the Hall Capital executive committee.
Separately, Hall Capital added managing directors Eric E. Alt, Sarah E. Stein, Richard L. Grand-Jean and Helane L. Morrison to its executive committee, increasing it to seven. Ms. Morrison is also the firm's general counsel and chief compliance officer.
The firm oversees $18 billion under management, with $1 billion of institutional assets.
