Tracy Tierney-Clifford was named vice president and executive relationship manager of the mid-Atlantic region at New York Life Retirement Plan Services, according to spokeswoman Sarah Lazarus.
Ms. Tierney-Clifford will be responsible for working with financial advisers and plan executives on designing and implementing 401(k) plans, Ms. Lazarus said. She will report to Stuart Denholm, director of client strategy.
Ms. Lazarus would not say whom Ms. Tierney-Clifford has replaced, saying only that the person left to pursue other opportunities.
Ms. Tierney-Clifford was assistant vice president and regional manager at Massachusetts Mutual Retirement Services, overseeing relationship management teams in the West and Southwest, Ms. Lazarus said.
She was replaced by Hal Oberg, who was most recently vice president, HR/payroll implementation at Fidelity Investments, effective May 11, according to MassMutual spokeswoman Lisa Reilly.
