Jean-Baptiste de Franssu today was elected to a two-year term as president of the European Fund and Asset Management Association, a spokesman confirmed.
Mr. de Franssu, who had been vice president, is CEO of Invesco Europe. He is replacing Mathias Bauer, who is CEO of Raiffeisen Capital Management.
Claude Kremer is the new vice president of the association. Mr. Kremer is a founding partner and head of investment management at law firm Arendt & Medernach, and also is chairman of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry.
The elections were held at the EFAMA annual meeting in Athens.
