The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Endowment Funds, Glasgow, Scotland, appointed BlackRock to manage its entire £75 million ($122 million) in assets, which is divided into two multiasset portfolios, according to a posting on Tenders Electronic Daily, a European public procurement platform.
One portfolio is invested 60% in U.K. equities, 15% in overseas equities, 10% in fixed income, 10% in real estate and the remainder in cash. The second portfolio is invested mostly in U.K. government bonds and cash. Further information about the portfolios was not available.
Emma Gregory, spokeswoman for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, could not be reached. Emma Phillips, spokeswoman for BlackRock, declined to comment citing company policy.
