Nebraska Investment Council, Lincoln, is accepting applications for the vacant position of state investment officer.
The successful candidate will oversee the management of $12 billion in assets among 30 state entities, according to a news release from the council.
The previous investment officer, David Bomberger, resigned March 1 to become deputy CIO at the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association, Denver. Joseph P. Jurich, an investment officer for the council, was named acting SIO in February.
