Ravi Venkataraman was named senior managing director of global consultant relations at MFS Investment Management.
The position is new. He will report to Carol Geremia, president at MFS Institutional Advisors, the institutional division of MFS Investment Management.
Mr. Venkataraman assumes consultant relations duties that had been handled by Betsy Palmer, who remains director of global institutional product management and marketing, MFS spokesman Dan Flaherty said.
Mr. Venkataraman was president and worldwide partner in Mercers U.S. asset management division. Mercer spokesman Charles Salmans said Ken Crotty succeeded Mr. Venkataraman as president, Mercer Global Investments. Mr. Crotty also retained his current responsibilities as head of Mercers U.S. investment management business and global COO.
