Krishna Memani was named a senior vice president at OppenheimerFunds and head of its high-grade fixed-income team, according to a company news release. The position is new.
Mr. Memani is taking on part of the responsibilities that had been handled by Angelo Manioudakis, who resigned in December as head of OFIs core-plus team, which managed high-grade fixed income and high-yield bonds, a company spokeswoman said. OFI is searching for someone to oversee the high-yield business, she said.
Mr. Memani was a managing director and head of the U.S. and European credit analyst team at Deutsche Bank. Deutsche Bank spokeswoman Michele Allison wasnt immediately available for details on his replacement.
