New Bedford (Mass.) Retirement Board is seeking a private equity fund-of-funds manager to manage $7 million, according to the website of investment consultant Segal Advisors.

Rafik Ghazarian, senior consultant and vice president with Segal Advisors, said the new allocation is aimed at lifting New Bedfords private equity allocation toward the plans 5% asset allocation target.
Gerard Arnaudet, executive director of the $170 million pension plan, wasnt immediately available for comment.
