Matthew Hoffman left his post as CIO of hedge fund manager Weston Capital Asset Management.
His plans could not be immediately learned. Albert Hallac, founder and chairman, said Mr. Hoffmans departure at the end of January was by mutual agreement and that Mr. Hoffman likely is looking for his next gig.
Mr. Hoffmans duties have been assumed by others on Weston Capitals investment team, and he will not be immediately replaced, Mr. Hallac said, although we are talking to a lot of people now.
Weston Capital manages about $1.5 billion in assets.
