Michael Huber and Joshua Steiner today were named co-presidents of private equity firm Quadrangle Group, said Adam Miller, a Quadrangle spokesman.
The new positions were created following the announcement that Steven Rattner, a co-founder of Quadrangle and a managing principal, would leave the firm to lead the team advising Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on the problems in the automobile sector.
Messrs. Huber and Steiner will keep their responsibilities and titles as Quadrangle managing principals, Mr. Miller said.
