Kenneth L. Holmes and Dallas L. Salisbury were named recipients of the EBRI Lillywhite Award today.
Mr. Holmes is a retired investment manager and consultant, and Mr. Salisbury is president and CEO of the Employee Benefit Research Institute.
The award is named for pension investment pioneer Ray Lillywhite and honors outstanding lifetime contributions to Americas economic security. It was presented at the Pensions & Investments East Coast Defined Contribution Conference in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. Holmes played a key role in forming the National Association of State Investment Officers in 1976. In addition, he was a founder of two investment management firms one that became AllianceBernstein and Holmes Clark Morong and has been a consultant in pension and investment matters to the Treasury and Labor departments as well as to major public, corporate and union pension plans.
Mr. Salisbury joined EBRI at its founding in 1978. He also has served on several pension-related panels including on the Labor Departments ERISA Advisory Council and the PBGC Advisory Committee.
