Mark L. Zusy was named CFO and partner at Gulf Stream Asset Management, and Sukai Liu was named head of hedge fund portfolio management.
The CFO and hedge fund positions are new.
Mr. Zusy was managing director of Lehman Brothers collateralized debt obligations banking group until he left the firm in May 2007. Mr. Liu was founder and president of Visor Alternative Investments, a credit and relative value multistrategy hedge fund manger, which now is closed, said Kathryn Blanchard, a Gulf Stream spokeswoman.
Separaterly, Gulf Stream in the first quarter will introduce a credit dislocation fund and a multistrategy credit hedge fund, Ms. Blanchard said.
Gulf Stream manages $3.8 billion in 10 funds, all focused on corporate credit investments.
