Alaska Retirement Management Board, Juneau, rehired Townsend Group as the $15.4 billion system’s real estate consultant, pending contract negotiations, confirmed board liaison officer Judy Hall.
The contract runs from April 1, 2009, through June 30, 2012, with the option of two one-year extensions.
Ms. Hall said Townsend was one of six firms that replied to the Oct. 15 RFP. CIO Gary Bader could not be reached for comment by press time.
