Ron Hulme was named CEO at hedge fund manager Carlson Capital. He replaces the firm’s founder, Clint Carlson, who remains president and CIO.
Mr. Hulme will focus on strategy, internal processes and human resource management as well as lead an expanded energy investment team for the $5 billion manager, according to a news release.
Mr. Hulme was a director and senior partner who headed a number of consulting practices during his 26-year tenure at McKinsey & Co., including the firm’s Americas oil and gas practice.
