Gene L. Needles Jr. was named president of Touchstone Investments. He replaced Jill McGruder, who had been interim president since Jim Grifo left in June, confirmed spokesman Tony Kono. Ms. McGruder will resume her duties as president and CEO of IFS Financial Services. Touchstone and IFS are part of Western & Southern Financial Group.
Mr. Needles will oversee business management and strategy, distribution, product management, marketing, administration, advisory services and acquisitions.
He was president and CEO of Invesco AIM Distributors, the distributor of AIM Funds. An Invesco spokesman could not be reached by press time for details on his replacement.
