Remco van Eeuwijk was named managing director of Mn Services in the U.K., a new position, confirmed spokesman Geert-Jan Cath.
Mn Services, headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, specializes in fiduciary management with €65 billion ($88 billion) in assets under management. The appointment follows the firms announcement earlier this year to expand in the U.K., company officials said in an interview at the time. Mr. van Eeuwijk, based in London, will be responsible for obtaining new fiduciary management mandates from U.K. pension funds, according to Mr. Cath.
Mr. van Eeuwijk had been executive director and global head of investment, risk and performance at ABN AMRO Asset Management, which was acquired by Fortis earlier this year. Fortis spokeswoman Lilian Tackaert could not be reached by press time for additional information.
