Neil Bathon, founder and former president of Financial Research Corp., launched FUSE Research Network LLC, a research firm that works with asset managers and distributors on sales and marketing issues, said Michael Evans, FUSE’s president.
The new firm will offer clients a blend of research and consulting services, Mr. Bathon said. Since leaving FRC in 2006, Mr. Bathon had been doing consulting work; Mr. Evans had been serving as Mr. Bathon’s successor as president of FRC before he left Aug. 15.
A spokesman at FRC wasn’t immediately available for comment.
