Stephen J. Kneeley was named a senior partner at Logan Circle Partners, focusing on operational and strategic issues, said Jude T. Driscoll, Logan Circles CEO.
The position is a new one at the Philadelphia-based firm, which launched operations late last year with key portfolio managers who had worked together at Delaware Investments.
Mr. Kneeley will help build Logan Circles distribution efforts and will spearhead other initiatives, including looking to add equity capabilities to the firms asset mix, Mr. Driscoll said.
In a telephone interview, Mr. Kneeley said he had been a consultant to money management firms for the past year, after leaving his position as a managing partner with Legg Mason subsidiary Brandywine Global Investors in August 2007. He said his strategic advisory firm, Ardmore Partners, will be closed.
