Dan Sido was named co-head of equities at Harris Investment Management, confirmed spokeswoman Laura Hunter. He will lead the equity group along with co-head Thomas Johnson, who had been sole leader of the group.
Mr. Sido is a senior partner and head of the firms large-cap equities team, and he will retain those duties.
The move was made because of growth in Harris equity business, Ms. Hunter said. As of June 30, Harris Investment Management had $6.9 billion in equity assets under management.
