Dennis McCafferty was named an analyst and member of the high-yield and strategic bond teams at MFC Global Investment Management (U.S.), said spokeswoman Beth McGoldrick. The position is new.
Mr. McCafferty was a principal and senior analyst with hedge fund Pardus Capital Management. A spokesman for Pardus couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
MFC Global has $31 billion in assets under management, according to its website.
