Danville (Va.) Employees Retirement System issued an RFP for a private equity fund-of-funds manager to run $10 million, according to a posting on consultant Dahab Associates website.
The $200 million system is looking for a diversified private equity fund of funds that invests in primaries whose main product offerings are buyout opportunities, secondaries or a combination of the two, according to the RFP. The fund of funds may have non-U.S. investments, but the majority of the investments should be domestic, the posting said.
The RFP is available at http://dahab.com/searches.html. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT Oct. 8. Further information was not available.
Neither Barbara Dameron, executive secretary of the fund, nor David Lee, the funds consultant at Dahab, returned calls by press time.
