Boeing Co., Chicago, is searching for a senior manager-U.S. equities to replace Michael S. Bennett, who joined the $1.2 billion endowment fund of the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, as director of investments.
At Boeing, the senior manager-U.S. equities oversees the $7 billion U.S. equity allocation of the companys $50.4 billion defined benefit fund.
Mr. Bennett in June replaced Bryan Unterhalter, who left the endowment to join American Century Investments as senior investment analyst in January, said Laura Kouri, American Century spokeswoman. At the endowment, Mr. Bennett oversees publicly traded strategies as well as alternative asset classes, including private equity, real estate, and real assets, he said.
Duties of the Boeing position include assisting in investment manager selection and evaluating investment strategies, as well as analyzing performance and risk.
The person in the position will report to Eric Peterson, managing director of equities and fixed income.
Boeing hopes to fill the position by the end of the year, said Todd H. Blecher, director of communications.
