Jim Clark was named managing director of State Street Trustees Ltd.s U.K. trustee business, confirmed spokeswoman Carolyn Cichon. He replaces Donald Anderson, who retired earlier this year. Local European regulations and laws often require an appointee independent of the fund manager to oversee and support the managers operation. State Street acts as the independent appointee. Clark was head of JPMorgans transfer agency business in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region. JPMorgan spokesman John Johmann said a replacement has not been named yet.
