Claire Woolston and Frank Barbarino joined NEPC as consultants in the firms alternative assets group, according to a news release. Ms. Woolston will focus on private markets with an emphasis on real estate, and Mr. Barbarino will focus on hedge funds. Richard Charlton, chairman and CEO, and Michael Manning, president, were not available for comment, a secretary said.
Ms. Woolston was an investment analyst at the investment office of Williams College, Williamstown, Mass., where she helped manage a $2 billion endowment. Information on her replacement was not available. Mr. Barbarino was a senior hedge fund analyst at Riverview Alternative Investment Advisors. His duties were assumed by Larry Chiarello, a partner at the firm, said Mark DAndrea, managing director.
