Plymouth (Mass.) Retirement System issued three RFPs for equity managers, according to a posting on the Massachusetts Public Pension Forum website. The $110 million fund is looking for a small-cap core manager to run $10 million to $11 million, a large-cap value manager to run $5 million to $6 million and a large-cap growth manager to run $5 million to $6 million.
The board will consider both separate account and commingled vehicles for the three searches. According to the funds 2006 annual report, domestic equity managers included Boston Advisors, Earnest Partners, SSgA and Wellington Trust Co. Templeton was the funds international equity manager.
