Dan McCarthy and Nels Wangensteen joined Integre Advisors as principals and portfolio managers, said Manny Weintraub, Integre founder, principal and portfolio manager. The positions are new. The two had been managing directors and portfolio managers at Neuberger Berman, overseeing a portfolio focused on firms involved in the digital delivery of services to consumers. Mr. Weintraub said that strategy will become Integres third offering, alongside its all-cap diversified equity and concentrated equity strategies. With about $200 million in client money overseen by Messrs. McCarthy and Wangensteen at Neuberger Berman likely to move to Integre, the companys assets under management should rise from $286.6 million, mostly from high-net-worth clients, to more than $400 million, a size that could attract institutional investors, Mr. Weintraub said. Randall Whitestone, spokesman for Neuberger Berman parent Lehman Brothers, didnt immediately have information on whether Messrs. McCarthy and Wangensteen would be replaced.
