Thomas Gibbons was named CFO at Bank of New York Mellon Corp., effective July 1. He succeeds Bruce Van Saun, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, according to a BNY Mellon news release. Mr. Gibbons was chief risk officer; Brian G. Rogan, currently CEO of BNY Mellons issuer, treasury and broker-dealer services, will replace him. Karen Peetz, currently CEO of global corporate trust, will succeed Mr. Rogan, and her successor will be named later.
