Worried about the U.S. stock market? Need help figuring out how low it will go and when it will sustain a rally? Celebrity psychic Monte Farber has bad news and good news for you.
The man who accurately predicted George W. Bush's re-election and that the New York Giants would be the 2008 Super Bowl champions has consulted with his spirit guides and is sure that the Dow Jones industrial average will drop to 11,018 before rebounding to the 14,000 to 15,000 range in October this year. As of the third week in May, the Dow was in the 13,000 range.
But Mr. Farber has even better news, although it seems he has trouble himself believing what his ethereal consultants are saying.
I heard 18,000 in July, just over a year from now, but that's really crazy. That would be impossible. Maybe it's inflation? Mr. Farber wrote in a news release about his latest market predictions. However impossible a 5,000-point rise might seem, Mr. Farber's intuition will not let him ignore the signs. By next July (2009), it will be roaring, based on an invention like the Internet. Maybe it's an enhancement of the Internet that changes everything, (but) I don't think it's been invented yet, he wrote.
Nearer term, Mr. Farber's otherworldly connections assure him that oil stocks are still good, electrical utilities are problematic, but companies connected with water purification are good and bottled water companies good.
How does Mr. Farber come up with his predictions? According to his website, http://www.enchantedworld.com: I have developed my own method of psychic perception, a combination of creative channeling with street-wise spirituality, common sense, intuition and a genuine love for the human spirit.
