Mn Services, the Dutch fiduciary manager with €65 billion ($102.6 billion) in assets under management, plans to expand its business into the U.K. and Germany, CEO Rudolf Hagendijk said in an interview. The Rijswijk, Netherlands-based company plans to open a London office by the end of the year, and an office in Germany may be established next year.
In the Netherlands, Mn offers a combination of investment management, asset liability modeling, risk management and supporting administrative services under the umbrella of fiduciary management.
We are looking for partnerships, particularly focusing on an alliance with consultants to help export its capabilities to the U.K. and Germany, Mr. Hagendijk added. Mn has spent the past couple of years building contacts in the U.K. to better analyze the best approach to offer its products in the region. The next step would be to hire a director and a supporting staff to prepare the grounds for our step in the U.K., Mr. Hagendijk said.
Were very successful in the Netherlands so were not in a hurry to expand to the U.K., Mr. Hagendijk said, but we do think we have something to offer.
