Three former Bear Stearns Asset Management officials including one-time CIO and senior managing director John Geissinger are among five executives named by Natsource to new positions at the asset management and research firm, said Sharron Silvers, Natsource spokeswoman.
Mr. Geissinger was named chief risk officer; Evan Kerr, head of marketing and product development; and Frederick Shaw, chief compliance officer. Mr. Kerr was a managing director and principal at BSAM and Mr. Shaw was a supervisor and branch manager. Jane Slater, BSAM spokeswoman, could not be reached for information on their replacements.
Also, Thomas Lawler was named director of public policy and Kevin Brennan, manager of commercial paper operations. Mr. Lawler was principal adviser on clean air and climate change issues to Sen. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., and Mr. Brennan was a hedge fund product specialist at ABN AMRO Asset Management. Information on his replacement could not be learned by press time.
