Plymouth County seeks hedge fund of funds

Plymouth County (Mass.) Employees Retirement System issued an RFP for a hedge fund-of-funds manager to handle $35 million, according to the website of the $670 million system’s general consultant, Wainwright Investment Counsel. Separate account managers will not be considered. The RFP is at http://www.winvcounsel.com. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday. The system’s board will have until March 31, 2009, to decide whether to accept any of the submitted bids. William Farmer, Plymouth County’s board administrator, wasn’t immediately available for comment or further details.
